Terms and conditions 

Envision Fitted Furniture

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the services provided by Envision Fitted Furniture ("we", "our", or "us") to our customers ("you", "your"). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Services Provided

Envision Fitted Furniture specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of custom cabinetry and fitted furniture for both residential and commercial spaces. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Custom kitchen cabinets

  • Free standing furniture

  • Desks, tables and benches

  • Built-in shelving and wardrobes

  • Home office and media units

  • Cabinet refinishing and repair

The specific scope of your project will be detailed in a written quote or invoice.

2. Quotations and Pricing

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise specified.

  • Prices are subject to change due to material cost fluctuations or changes in project scope.

  • Client-requested changes to design, layout, or materials may result in additional charges. 

  • A project and estimated installation date will not be confirmed until an initial deposit is paid.

3. Deposits and Payments

  • A 10% deposit is required to secure materials and confirm your booking.

  • Two subsequent 20% deposits are required during the workshop phase of the project.

  • Larger deposits may be required for projects with high materials costs

  • The remaining balance is due upon project completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Payments can be made via BACS payments.

4. Project Timeline

  • Estimated start and completion dates are provided as a guide and may vary due to material availability, supplier delays, or unforeseen site conditions.

  • Envision Fitted Furniture will communicate any delays and work to keep your project on track.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • You agree to provide clear access to the workspace and ensure the area is ready for installation. 

  • The room must be clear and ready to use. If the room is not in a condition fit for us to work in it may result in additional costs for the time wasted. 

  • You are responsible for securing any required permits unless agreed otherwise.

  • All pre-existing conditions (e.g., plumbing, electrical, or structural issues) must be disclosed prior to the start of work.

6. Warranties and Guarantees

  • We offer a 10 year warranty on all cabinetry and fitted furniture.

  • This warranty does not cover general wear and tear, water damage, misuse, or alterations made by third parties post-installation.

  • Manufacturer warranties for hardware and materials are passed along where applicable.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made prior to the ordering of materials may qualify for a partial refund. 

  • Deposits become non-refundable once production has begun or materials have been ordered.

  • In the unlikely event that Envision Fitted Furniture cancels your project, a full refund of any unused portion of your deposit will be issued.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Envision Fitted Furniture shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Our liability is limited to the total value of the contract agreed upon with the client.

9. Ownership of Designs

  • All sketches, plans, and designs created by Envision Fitted Furniture remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Any reproduction, distribution, or use of these designs without permission is strictly prohibited.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt a resolution through direct communication or mediation before seeking legal action.

  • These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

11. Amendments

Envision Fitted Furniture reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website or provided upon request.
