Customer FAQs

Here are some of the frequently asked questions that our customers have. But if there is anything else that you need to know, then don't hesitate to get in touch.

How do I get a quote?

Send us an email with as much information as possible about what you want. Include dimensions of the space (height, width and depth). Along with the features you want to have inside such as hanging rails, drawers, shelves ect, and your  preferred styles. Don’t worry if you aren’t sure, we can work this out further along the process.

With this information we’ll be able to give you a rough idea on the price you would be expecting to pay.

Do you need to visit my house to measure up?

Yes, once we have worked out a guide price for you we will arrange a site visit to take our own measurements and take time to discuss with you what it is exactly that you want. To ensure that everything is perfect for you once completed.

Do I need to have a design or can you help me with it?

We can help you design your furniture, from the configuration of your wardrobe to designing one of a kind tables. We pride ourselves in our design skills. If you have a specific design in mind we can work with that also but if you need us to design the whole thing we can also do that, keeping in contact with you along the design process to ensure you are happy with everything.

Will you show me the designs before you make it?

Yes we do all our designs on 3D CAD software so we can show you what they will look like before we start building anything. This also allows us to make any changes and alterations easily if necessary.

Take a look at our pricing page to get a general idea on pricing.

How long does it take to install?

A typical install will take between 1-3 days depending on the size of the project

We want to have our floor replace at the same time, should we do this before or after the cabinet install?

It’s best to wait until the furniture is fitted before you get your new carpets, as the floor will give us a solid base to set the cabinets on and then the carpet fitter can snuggly trim the carpet around the base of the cabinet. Similarly with any floating floors such as laminates as it is best to not have cabinets on top of these floors as it prevents them from expanding and contracting which they are designed to do.

However, if you are having a solid floor such or LVT it is best to have this installed before the cabinets and then the cabinets can be laid directly on top of your new floor.

Will you show me the designs before you make it?

Yes we do all our designs on 3D CAD software so we can show you what they will look like before we start building anything. This also allows us to make any changes and alterations easily if necessary.

What styles do you offer?

We offer a huge range of styles, it is ultimately up to your imagination. We are able to help you design a certain style you are after or recreate something you have seen elsewhere. As we offer a fully bespoke service anything is possible and not just what is in the catalogue or showroom.  We aren't limited to standard sized cabinets, colours or door styles.

Is fitted furniture worth the cost?

Absolutely! Although fitted furniture costs more than off the shelf products, it is well worth the extra cost. Getting much more for your money. Not only will the cabinets fit perfectly in the desired area, meaning less wasted space and more storage! Along with the fact that your new furniture will be the exact style, colour finish and configuration you desire.

Fitted furniture also has a much longer lifespan, getting decades of use out of your new furniture, meaning that it is actually much better value for money in the long term.

What sort of materials do you use?

This is up to you, most people like to have a painted finish these days, so we tend to use premium moisture resistant MDF for this as it gives a great smooth finish when painted. However there are many other materials available, including solid woods, solid wood veneers, plywoods and melamine faced boards.

What finish will it have?

We offer a range of finished, from painting and lacquering, To more traditional finishes such as bees was and various different oil finishes. Let us know if you have anything in particular in mind and we can use that for your project.   When it comes to paint we can paint them any colour you like. We generally suggest customers pick a Farrow and Ball colour, however if you have something different in mind just let us know and we can use that colour for you.

Will you paint/ finish them at my house or in your workshop

We do all the painting in the workshop. The only painting we will do on site is on any touch ups and screw holes we have had to fill.

Will they have soft close doors?

All our cabinet doors have soft close hinges as standard. Along with all our drawers having soft close draw runners.

What types of handles will the doors have?

We have a range of chrome, satin or brushed steel knobs for you to choose from, however if you have a particular handle in mind, you can either buy them yourself and we will fit them for you or we can get them and add it onto the final price.

Will there be extra costs on the final payment?

No, the only extra costs will be if you have added anything on top the original quote such as extra drawers or shelves. We do not charge extra for fitting or additional consultations. Our quoted price is almost always the final price of the project. We also do not charge VAT for our work.
